Question: Does my fwb, really love me, or should i move on?

Ok. I have been FWB with a guy for 6 months now. I asked him 3 times about being in a relationship with me, and he kept blowning it off telling me he wasent ready. So i got tired of it and met a really nice guy, and now he's my boyfriend(thing arent going to well with him right now) but 8 days ago my fwb told me he wants to be with me and he finally see all the good in me and hates seeing me with another guy. and about 3 days ago while we were *making love*lol. he looked me in my eyes and said he loved me, my heart just dropped because i've been wanting to tell him that i loved him, but i didnt and instead i said.. no you dont. he said yes i do, and i dropped the convo. then we finished. well after that i waited a while, and before he left i said "did u really mean what u said " and he didnt answer for a while.. then he goes.. "for that moment i did ". then i said "ok, so u dont love me, it was just in the mood? " then he looked me in my eyes again and said... "no, i dont know how to explain it, but i feell it now to ", he kissed me and left. (btw, i said i love you too before he left) when he got home he text me, and we talked. he told me he wants to be able to tell me he loves me again but in person, and he said he really ment it.- - then he didnt wait to say it, he said it before we said goodnight. now i know this is crazy, but i want to know what anyone else thanks about this. does he really love me? is he just telling me this sh*t because i have a boyfriend and i would'nt have sex with him for like a month into my relationship with my boyfriend.and he's jealous and wants my attention back? also, my fwb is a really sweet guy, he talks to me everydayk all day(if possible) and sees me whenever he can. he calls me pretty, and beautiful, andd tells me how much he likes me. the whole 9 yardss. but, i wonder if its just a way of him keeping me connected and having feelings for him.?
