Question: My girlfriend thinks sexual stuff is gross?

Okay.. So my girlfriend thinks anything sexual including sex itself is gross, ridiculous and something she doesnt want to take part in. Any advice? What should I do? Is breaking up with her too harsh? Answers would be great!

Depends, is she adult? If she's too young, then she's not ready and you shouldn't push her. If she's adult and thinks that, then you should break up with her, she needs to find someone who feels the same as her, it's her unnatural feelings and she needs to find someone to match, not expect others to accept it.

If that's all you want, you'd be doing her a favor by breaking up. She'd be better off without you and overall, you'll probably be better off as well. The last thing I want is for some dumbshit kid getting another 15 year old girl pregnant and needing my taxes to pay for it. Then again, it would probably happen with your next victim anyway...

It would be easy to say "that's silly " and dump her but if you really care about her and want to help her, she needs to figure out where this idea that sex is "gross " comes from. She may have had some bad experiences in the past, she may have been told growing up that her genitals were "gross " and that she and no one else should touch them, that they're dirty etc. She needs to figure out where that idea of sex being so repulsive started/ comes from. She needs to work on this on her own, you cannot cure her. She could even seek counselling if she was willing.

Don't break with her. you need to do is make a relationship with some other girl who doesn't mind to have sex with you. if your girlfriend doesn't want sex relationship with you and just be friend forever...

She might not think sex is gross but she might think the way you talk and act about sex is gross. Instead of being sexual try being romantic with her to turn her on the way that she wants to be turned on - not the way you want her to. Find out what makes her tick and use that to drive her crazy. Have her come to you for sex. It might take a while but it will be worth it in the end.

It does seem harsh to break up with someone over sex, but it is one of the biggest parts of a relationship and what brings you both a lot closer. She seems boring anyway! Who doesn't love a good session of bump 'n' grind?! I doubt she's grossed out by it she probably just feels insecure, but obviously wouldn't want to admit it. Talk to her about it, and if she pushes you away then get rid of her, seriously.

I think everyone at some point thinks anything sexual is gross, but it's generally when they're young and they grow out of it. Maybe she's just not ready yet, but if you talk to her and make her see that it's natural, she might stop thinking it's gross. But if it's still something she doesn't want to do, don't pressure her x o x o
