Question: Why is it that american women are so averse to dating australian men?

I have noticed that most american women look down on Australian men.... I would like to know why? It isn't the same with Australian women... quite a few american men are open to dating Australian women.....

Australian men are too macho and arrogant. American women are not going to be treated like they are living in the caveman era.

You mean the 2 American women you met? Come on, I've never heard this one before. Not that I meet a lot of Australian men, but I think women would be attracted to them, in general. So yeah, those 2 women are the exception!

Personally, I like australian men I think the accent is sexy. Most women look down because of the steryo-typical thoughts. Gropers. (pause to roll my eyes)

I don't think this is true at all, at least for me. All of the Australian men I've met have been wonderful conversationalists and extraordinary individuals. I think it just depends on the person, but if the guys I've been lucky enough to meet from Australia are any indication of the general male population in your country, I think any woman, regardless of where she's from, would be crazy not to date them.

Says who? I'm "American " (I was born in this country though I'm only a fourth white.... I'm mostly Korean.) and Australian men are sexy. I'm not one to care much about accents, (Thats just GREAT how that boy over there has a British accent... Too bad the way you SPEAK has NOTHING to do with the way you THINK!) but you can't help but smile when you hear them talk. :) Love, Hannah
