Question: Why are most women afraid of making the first move when it comes to sex?

I'm not afraid, I just can't be bothered. If I know I'm going to have mediocre sex then why make a move? I'd rather go to sleep. I had a boyfriend once and it was so full on that I had sweat dripping from my brow on a regular occasion - if I'm not getting that, then it's not worth making a move as far as I'm concerned.

Because it makes you feel like you not wanted if you have to make all the moves. it's more of a turn on when guys assert their manliness anyway. That's not to say guys don't feel this way too. but it's annoying if you have to make ALL the moves.

For me...I am not begging anyone to want me. I won't make the first move, because I am old fashioned. If he wants me, he can man up and show me. Women have a stigma attached to them for making the first move, like they are easy. Although it is not always true, it is in our subconscious. A man should make the first move. That's just how it is, just like a man should pay on the first date and hold doors open for you. Chivalry is an honorable trait, pansieness is not.

Oh maybe because since the beginning of a relationship their always worried about who should make the first move. even when it comes to kissing they usually assume the guy should make the first move.but i think it's time we change that and we can be the ones making the first move when it comes to kissing, sex who said guys are the ones that have to make the first move lol (:

Women want you to make the first move. They want you to wear the pants and dominate them. No matter how much you hear women complain about "men dominating them, " They want nothing more than for you to take control. Just make the first move man, 9/ 10 it will be ok.

Various reasons: 1. Out-dated cultural ideas that women should not be too forward. Be a "good girl " and not a s*l*u*t*. Of course, it's stupid and doesn't make a girl easy. However, no matter how modern and open society seems, only a few decades ago this was the case and it takes a long time for old ideas to breathe their last breath - scratch the progressive surface and you might be surprised what lacks beneath in the corners of our subconsciouses. 2. The guy might not be in the mood and some girls might feel rejected or unwanted. It hurts, although that's due to insecurity. 3.Fear of coming on too strong. By expressing too much affection, we may seem clingy and scare the guy away. The same can apply to kissing and cuddling too. ****Does this ever happen or is my fear just illogical and plain stupid???

This is not necessarily true.Some women prefer that the man makes the first move so it doesn't make her seem too forward.After a sexually active relationship is established, you may be surprised that the woman makes the first move frequently.

Sexy boy, let me tell you a little information that you might not know. Most women are afraid to make the first move, for a lot of reasons. Having sex for women is a good thing, but most women want to be in love when they have sex, it's just a women thing. Personally I am afraid of rejection, low self esteem, and subconscious. I have a really hard time sharing and wanting to have sex. I just can not have sex, with every tom dick or harry, it has to mean something to me when I share my love with my partner.Also, you need to have a connection with a person, before you can just have sex, unless you are a very desperate lady, that just wants to have a spontaneous night in bed. Lol
